Year 6 will undertake cycle training during their final summer term.

In addition to their practical assessment at the end of the course, there is also a written part to the test where children are expected to answer highway code questions. The 'Tales of the Road' Highway Code booklet can be found below. Nearer the time, it would be helpful if you could assist the children with learning the material (see below). Due to limited storage it is advisable that bikes go home each day. Some bikes may be left at school padlocked to the bike racks. It is imperative that children have helmets and a security lock for their bicycle. Your child is responsible for padlocking their own bicycle.
