Religious Education
At Kidmore End CE Primary School, we hold a strong commitment to the principles of Christianity; religion and beliefs inform our values and these are reflected in what we say and how we behave. Our Religious Education curriculum has been carefully designed to include biblical stories of journeys to faith, perseverance, resilience and commitment, which reflect both our core values, and the challenges our children will face on their own learning journeys as they strive to be the very best they can be. These values are an integral part of our Religious Education curriculum and help to develop children’s knowledge and understanding of the religions and beliefs that form part of contemporary society.
"Kidmore End is a caring school that has a clear Christian vision which is underpinned by distinctively Christian values that are clearly expressed in school, on school documentation and on the website. The school vision and values clearly impact on meeting the needs of all pupils so that they are nurtured and enabled to flourish. As a result, the majority of pupils attain well and make good progress in academic tests. The Christian character impacts on behaviour, which is good, and attendance, which is above national, and pupils say that they enjoy coming to school." SIAMS REPORT 2016
