School run clubs (Y1 - 6)

PAID clubs run by outside providers 

Space Club on Tuesdays (before school) with Space Store (FS - Y6): Each session costs £8 per week.

Run by Space Store (some may know their shop in the Oxford Covered Market), each session will be fun-filled and space-themed, with exciting and adventure-packed activities and games to keep children engaged – promoting creativity, learning, imagination & social skills!

Activities will vary week to week to include: Space-themed educational activities aligned with the national curriculum developed in partnership with the European Space Agency, astronaut physical training & sport, virtual reality, rocket building & launches, and arts & crafts.

If our child is eligible for pupil premium, tick Yes at the question box on the booking form, and choose "Gift Voucher" at checkout to avoid payment, and complete the booking. Please notify the school and we will arrange payment of your account. 

 

 

Keyboards/Piano (Y3 - 6), Woodwind tuition (Y4 - 6) & Guitar (Y1 - 6) with County Music Service:  As well as learning instruments in class, children have the opportunity to have individual tuition in woodwind instruments (Clarinet & Flute) with Mrs Robertson on Thursdays, Keyboards / Piano with Mrs Ward on Tuesdays and Guitar with Fernando Aguera on Fridays.

If your child is interested in learning to play an instrument with County Music Service (whose teachers visit our school weekly) please go to the learning an instrument section of the Oxfordshire County Council website to apply. A link to the relevant page can be found here.

 

Art (Y1 - Y3) on Wednesdays with Smudge Art [FULLY BOOKED]: Each session costs £10 per week.  At Smudge Art Club, we will explore lots of different materials and techniques, including drawing, printing, painting, collage and pottery.  Children will bring home a mixture of messy, arty investigations and creative, finished pieces.  Please see our website www.smudgeartclub.com/after-school-clubs for more details.  If your child is interested, please book at www.smudgeartclub.com/book-online.  If you are booking on our website for the first time, you will be directed to a registration form to sign up to Smudge - please ensure you go back to the bookings page to book the club after you have filled it out.  Places are limited and will be allocated to children on the waiting list initially, then on a first come first serve basis. If your child is entitled to pupil premium, please choose "pay offline" at the checkout and Smudge Art will liaise directly with School for payment.

Multi Skills (FS - Y3) on Mondays & Hockey (Y3 - Y6) on Thursdays with uSports:  Multi Skills & Hockey sessions cost £6.75 per week. To book your child's place, please use the link here which will take you to the relevant booking page within uSports' website.

This club will NOT run if there is insufficient sign-up. If your child would like to join this club please sign up before uSports booking deadline: Tuesday 17th December. A decision will then be made on this date whether this club can run. If this club is cancelled due to low numbers, refunds will be given to anyone who has signed up.

If your child is entitled to pupil premium, please email Danielle @ uSports (on danielle@u-sports.co.uk) so she can book your child's place and request payment from school on your behalf.

Football on Wednesdays (Y4 - Y6) with KickOff: This Club will NOT run in January due to insufficient bookings. 

 

Mad Science on Wednesdays (Y1 - 6) with Mad Science. Each session works out at approximately £10.50 per week (discounts for siblings are available). To book your child's place, please use the link here which will take you to the relevant booking page within Mad Science's website or scan the QR code within the flyer below.  Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

If your child is eligible for pupil premium and the cost of your child's clubs are therefore covered by school, please register using the same booking link and create a profile for your child. Please then email the School Office to let us know you'd like to sign up and we shall arrange payment of your account & ask Mad Science to manually book your pupil premium place on your behalf.

Cookery on Tuesdays (Y1 - Y6) with Smart Raspberry [FULLY BOOKED]:  Each session costs £10 per week. To book your child's place, please use the link here which will take you to the relevant booking page within Smart Raspberry's website.  Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.   

 

LAMDA Speech & Drama (Y3 - Y6):  Each session costs £10 per week.  Please contact Mrs Katie Girdler on Katie.lamda@outlook.com to register your interest for September 2024 or request further information. 

Please note that once enrolled your child's place will automatically carry forward to the following term. Should your child wish to stop, please contact Katie to avoid further charges and to remove your child from the register. 

Lego with The Creative Brick Company (FS - Y6): Both before & after school sessions are available and cost £8 per session.  To register interest, please email hello@thecreativebrickcompany.co.uk with your child's name, year group and morning or afternoon session.  If your child is entitled to pupil premium, please also state this in your email, we will then request payment from school on your behalf. See the flyer below for more information. 

 

Thursday Lunchtime French with BilinguaSing (Y1 - Y6): Each session costs £5 per week and lessons will last for 30 minutes and take place in the Learning Zone on Thursday lunchtimes at 12.15pm (for KS2) and at 12.45pm (for KS1). Please see the attached for full details. The link to book can be found in the flyer below and also here, as the one in the flyer can sometimes be hard to access.

Breakdance with John Johnny (Y1 - Y6): Each session costs £8 per week - lessons will take place in the School Hall on Tuesdays after school. Please see the attached for full details. To register your interest please email johnjohnny@hotmail.co.uk with your child's name and year group. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. If your child qualifies for pupil premium, please mention this in your email and school will liaise with John Johnny to cover the cost of your course.

If your child qualifies for pupil premium, please mention this in your email and school will liaise with Mr Sujoldzic to cover the cost of your course.
