FREE* school run clubs (Y1 - 6)

Applications for all school run clubs closed on Monday 8th July 2024. 

Places were confirmed via ParentMail (to all those parents who applied) on Friday 12th July.

The following school run clubs have limited spaces available. Now that the deadline has passed we will allocate these on a first come first served basis. If your child would like to join one of our clubs with spaces, please submit the relevant 'request to join' google form below, which can be found by clicking on the following links:

Girls Netball on Mondays (Y3 - 6)

Chess / Board Games on Mondays (Y3 - 6)

Choir on Thursdays (Y3 - 6)

All other school run clubs are FULL & waiting lists have closed.

*Please note Art & Craft Club and Sewing Club both request a £5 contribution to cover materials should your child wish to bring their creations home.

 

PAID clubs run by outside providers 

Keyboards/Piano (Y3 - 6), Woodwind tuition (Y4 - 6) & Guitar (Y1 - 6) with County Music Service:  As well as learning instruments in class, children have the opportunity to have individual tuition in woodwind instruments (Clarinet & Flute) with Mrs Robertson on Thursdays, Keyboards / Piano with Mrs Ward on Tuesdays and Guitar with Fernando Aguera on Fridays.

If your child is interested in learning to play an instrument with County Music Service (whose teachers visit our school weekly) please go to the learning an instrument section of the Oxfordshire County Council website to apply. A link to the relevant page can be found here.

 

Yoga (Y1 - Y3) with Beam Academy: Each session costs £7 per week. Please see the attached flyer for details of how to book onto this Yoga class. Places will allocated on a first come, first served basis until the 15 places are filled.

Art (Y4 - Y6) with Smudge Art: Each session costs £10 per week.  At Smudge Art Club, we will explore lots of different materials and techniques, including drawing, printing, painting, collage and pottery.  Children will bring home a mixture of messy, arty investigations and creative, finished pieces.  Please see our website www.smudgeartclub.com/after-school-clubs for more details.  If your child is interested, please book at www.smudgeartclub.com/book-online.  If you are booking on our website for the first time, you will be directed to a registration form to sign up to Smudge - please ensure you go back to the bookings page to book the club after you have filled it out.  Places are limited and will be allocated to children on the waiting list initially, then on a first come first serve basis. If your child is entitled to pupil premium, please choose "pay offline" at the checkout and Smudge Art will liaise directly with School for payment.

Gymnastics (Y1 - Y3) on Mondays & Hockey (Y3 - Y6) on Tuesdays with uSports:  Gymnastics sessions cost £5.50 per week; Hockey sessions cost £6.75 per week. To book your child's place, please use the link here which will take you to the relevant booking page within uSports' website.

These clubs will NOT run if there is insufficient sign-up. If your child would like to join either of these clubs please sign up before uSports' booking deadline: Tuesday 23rd July. A decision will then be made on this date whether these clubs can run. If this club is cancelled due to low numbers, refunds will be given to anyone who has signed up.

If your child is entitled to pupil premium, please email Danielle @ uSports (on danielle@u-sports.co.uk) so she can book your child's place and request payment from school on your behalf.

 

Football on Wednesdays (Y1 - Y3) with KickOff:  Each session costs £7.50 per week. Join KickOff for an exciting after-school football club held every Wednesday from 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM. This club is open to students from Year 1 to Year 3 and is coached by Kickoff Sarah, an experienced coach who has worked with various professional clubs.

Supported by Nike, KickOff's sessions focus on developing football skills, teamwork, and having fun in a supportive and engaging environment. Whether your child is a beginner or has been playing for years, this club offers the perfect opportunity to improve their game and make new friends.

To book your child's place, please use the link here which will take you to the relevant booking page within KickOff's website.  If your child is eligible for pupil premium and the cost of your child's clubs are therefore covered by school, please register using the same booking link (but simply skip the payment page) & email the School Office so we can arrange payment of your account.

Science on Wednesdays (Y4 - Y6) with Bright Sparks Science: Each session costs £9.60 per week. This 6 session course starts Wednesday 18th September & runs until October half term. To book your child's place, please use the link here which will take you to the relevant booking page within Bright Sparks Science's website. These 20 places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.  See the flyer below for more information. 

If your child is entitled to pupil premium, please use this coupon code at checkout: KIDENDT124PP and email the office to confirm you have signed up using the pupil premium code. School will then liaise with Bright Sparks Science to cover the cost of your course. 

 

Cookery on Tuesdays (Y1 - Y6) with Smart Raspberry:  Each session costs £10 per week. To book your child's place, please use the link here which will take you to the relevant booking page within Smart Raspberry's website.  Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.   

 

LAMDA Speech & Drama (Y3 - Y6):  Each session costs £10 per week.  Please contact Mrs Katie Girdler on Katie.lamda@outlook.com to register your interest for September 2024 or request further information.

Lego with The Creative Brick Company (Y1 - Y6): Both before & after school sessions are available and cost £8 per session.  To register interest, please email hello@thecreativebrickcompany.co.uk with your child's name, year group and morning or afternoon session.  If your child is entitled to pupil premium, please also state this in your email, we will then request payment from school on your behalf. See the flyer below for more information. 

 

Thursday Lunchtime French with BilinguaSing (Y1 - Y6): Each session costs £5 per week and lessons will last for 30 minutes and take place in the Learning Zone on Thursday lunchtimes at 12.15pm (for KS2) and at 12.45pm (for KS1). Please see the attached for full details. The link to book can be found in the flyer below and also here, as the one in the flyer can sometimes be hard to access.

Breakdance with John Johnny (Y1 - Y6): Each session costs £7.50 per week - lessons will take place in the School Hall on Thursdays after school. Please see the attached for full details. To register your interest please email johnjohnny@hotmail.co.uk with your child's name and year group. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. If you child qualifies for pupil premium, please mention this in your email and school will liaise with John Johnny to cover the cost of your course.
