School managed clubs (Y1 - Y6)

The following clubs are bookable via MCAS and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis:

• Fun Fitness Games Lunchtime Club (Y1 - Y3)
• Netball Club (Y3 - Y6)
• Recorder Club (Y3 - Y6)
• Infant Multi-Skills Lunchtime Club (Y1 - Y2)
• Junior Multi-Skills Lunchtime Club (Y3 - Y6)
• Gymnastics Club (Y1 - Y3)

In view of the fact the cost of these clubs has already been subsidised, there will be no refunds for sessions cancelled due to wet weather or missed due to absence.

For targeted pupil premium children the costs of attending all school managed clubs are covered by School.  Please ensure you select the free PP rate at checkout so you can book without charge.

Choir: £10 per child for 12 sessions

Running Club: £10 per child for 12 sessions.  This wonderful club could not run without parental support. If you are able to volunteer on a regular basis we would be very grateful for your support, please use this google form to sign up: Running Club Volunteers Sign-Up Sheet

 

Fun Fitness Games Lunchtime Club:  This club will run for 30 minutes and start after they've eaten their lunch at 12.45pm on Wednesday 9th September.  This club will be run by Amanda Watkins-Cooke who leads PE coaching at Kidmore End.  The cost of these 14 weekly sessions is £20. 

 

Netball Club: This 14 week club will be run by Amanda Watkins-Cooke who leads PE coaching at Kidmore End. Sessions cost £7.50 per week.

 

Recorder Club: This 12 week club will be run by Mr Marples. Sessions cost £6 per week.

 

Multi-Skills Lunchtime Clubs: Each club will run for 30 minutes. A Junior Club (for years 3 - 6) will start at 12.15pm after which they will have time to have lunch. An Infant club (for Year 1 & Year 2) will start after they've eaten their lunch at 12.45pm.  The cost to attend these 15 sessions is £20.  More information on the provider running these sessions, Premier Education, can be found on their website: LINK

 

Gymnastics Club:  This club will be run by Premier Education, participants will have the opportunity to work towards and receive their British Gymnastics Badges!  Sessions cost £8 per week and take place from 3.15 - 4.15pm in the School Hall, starting Thursday 3rd September.  More information can be found regarding this exciting club on Premier Education's website: LINK . 

 

Clubs booked direct with outside providers (Y1 - Y6)

Keyboards/Piano (Y3 - 6) & Guitar (Y1 - 6) with County Music Service:  As well as learning instruments in class, children have the opportunity to have individual tuition in Keyboards / Piano with Mrs Ward on Tuesdays and Guitar with Fernando Aguera on Fridays.

If your child is interested in learning to play an instrument with County Music Service (whose teachers visit our school weekly) please go to the learning an instrument section of the Oxfordshire County Council website to apply. A link to the relevant page can be found here.

Please note that once enrolled your child's place will automatically carry forward to the following term. Should your child wish to stop, please contact County Music Service to avoid further charges and to remove your child from the register. For targeted pupil premium children the costs of attending county music services' music lessons are covered by School.

 

From September 2026 (following the change in pupil premium rules), School can no longer cover the cost of the clubs listed in the rest of this section, however, a number of the providers below have agreed to fund places for children eligible for targeted pupil premium. Please see below for details.

 

Spanish Breakfast Club on Mondays with BilinguaSing (Y1 - Y6): Each session costs £6.50 per week and lessons will last for 40 minutes and take place in the School Hall on Monday mornings from 8am. Please see the attached for full details. The link to book can be found in the flyer below and also here, as the one in the flyer can sometimes be hard to access.

Coding Club on Mondays with ComputerXplorers (Y3 - Y6): We are awaiting joining instructions. The provider has informed us these will be shared with parents in September. We will notify parents via MCAS once booking information has been received and uploaded to this page.

 

Playball Club on Mondays with Playball Kids (Y1 - Y3): Each session costs £8.25 per session.  To register, please visit Playball Kids website or use the link here.  One FREE targeted pupil premium place is available.

 

Breakdance Breakfast Club on Tuesdays with John Johnny (Y1 - Y6): Each session costs £8 per week - lessons will take place in the School Hall on Fridays before school. Please see the attached for full details. To register your interest please email johnjohnny@hotmail.co.uk with your child's name and year group. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.  Please note children cannot sign up for more than one Breakdance Club, to ensure as many children as possible can take part.

 

Breakdance on Tuesdays (after school) with John Johnny (Y1 - Y6): Each session costs £8 per week - lessons will take place in the School Hall on Tuesdays after school. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Please note children cannot sign up for more than one Breakdance Club, to ensure as many children as possible can take part.

 

Cookery on Tuesdays (Y1 - Y6) with Smart Raspberry:  Each session costs £12 per week. To book your child's place, please use the link here which will take you to the relevant booking page within Smart Raspberry's website.  Places will be allocated on a first come, first-served basis.   

 

Art on Wednesdays with Smudge Art (FS - Y2): Each session costs £10 per week.  At Smudge Art Club, we will explore lots of different materials and techniques, including drawing, printing, painting, collage and pottery.  Children will bring home a mixture of messy, arty investigations and creative, finished pieces.  Please see our website www.smudgeartclub.com/after-school-clubs for more details.  If your child is interested, please book at www.smudgeartclub.com/book-online.  If you are booking on our website for the first time, you will be directed to a registration form to sign up to Smudge - please ensure you go back to the bookings page to book the club after you have filled it out.  Places are limited and will be allocated to children on the waiting list initially, then on a first come, first serve basis.

Chess Club on Wednesdays with Kings & Queens (Y2 - Y6): Each session costs £7 per week.  Two FREE targeted pupil premium places are available. Here is a link to their enrolment form.

 

LAMDA Speech & Drama on Wednesdays with Mrs Girdler (Y2 - Y5) [Y6 classes are FULL]:  Each session costs £10 per week.  Please contact Mrs Katie Girdler on Katie.lamda@outlook.com to register your interest or request further information.
